Terms and Conditions for the Rental of Casavecchia

Introduction

Welcome to Casavecchia, located at Via Scopeti 41, San Casciano in Val di Pesa, Firenze, Italy 50026.

By booking a stay at our holiday home, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully.

Booking and Payment

Booking Process: Guests must complete the booking form provided on our website or via email. A booking is considered confirmed only upon receipt of the required deposit.
Deposit: A non-refundable deposit of 30% is required at the time of booking.
Final Payment: The remaining balance is due 30 days before the arrival date. Failure to make this payment may result in the cancellation of the reservation.
Payment Methods: Payments can be made via bank transfer, credit card, or Paypal.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation by Guest: Cancellations must be made in writing. The following cancellation fees apply:
- More than 120 days before check-in: 50% refundable.
- Less than 120 days before check-in: 0% refundable.
Cancellation by Host: In the unlikely event that we must cancel your booking, you will be notified as soon as possible, and we will provide a full refund or assist in finding alternative accommodation.

Check-In / Check-Out

Check-in Time: Check-in is from 5 PM on the day of arrival.
Check-out Time: Check-out is by 10 AM on the day of departure.
Late Check-out: Late check-out may be available upon request and is subject to availability. Additional fees may apply.

Guest Responsibilities

Occupancy Limits: The maximum number of guests permitted at Casavecchia is 14 per property unless a specific agreement has been made for an event. Exceeding this limit may result in immediate termination of the rental agreement without a refund.
Behaviour: Guests are expected to conduct themselves in a respectful manner. Noise, disturbances, or illegal activities will not be tolerated. Music can be played until 1:30 AM; additional fees of €500 per hour will apply for music played past this time.
Damage and Repairs: Guests are responsible for any damage caused to the property or its contents during their stay. A security deposit of €1,000 will be required and will be refunded within 2 days of departure, subject to inspection.

Use of Property

Restrictions: Pets are not allowed without prior approval.
Liability: Casavecchia and its owners are not responsible for any accidents, injuries, or illnesses that occur while on the premises or its facilities.

Force Majeure

In the event of circumstances beyond our control (e.g., natural disasters, wars, pandemics), we reserve the right to cancel your booking and will fully refund any payments made.

Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Italy.

Amendments

We reserve the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will take effect immediately upon publication on our website.
